At Sanghumugham, Trivandrum Air Cargo Terminal (TACT),
an ISO - 9002 Certified Cargo Complex, is a prestigious
division of the Kerala State Industrial Enterprises Limited
(KSIE) - a Government of Kerala Undertaking. KSIE is the
Custodian of the Air Cargo at the Trivandrum International
Airport. TACT provides round the clock service to its esteemed
Customers.

| Cooling
Room for Perishables: |
|
A cooling room and cargo handling facility having a built-up
area of 10,000 Sq. Ft. has been set up at TACT for export
of Perishables. The cooling room has three chambers and
the temperature of each chamber can be regulated between
0ºC-15ºC based on the requirement of each product.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, flower, meat can be stored pending
shipment. This is a most modern facility built by a Dutch
Company having ball platform, roller deck & lowerable
workstation for safe and convenient pallatisation of product
like flowers. Sufficient area for examination, handling
etc. has also been provided. This facility will help the
exporters for preservation of such products in its pristine
form even after cancellation of flight or short shipping
etc., whenever occurred, there by reducing the financial
loss to the shippers.
